Bellropespider used to be a Maths Tutor but since retiring from Maths tuition has been able to concentrate all her efforts on something much more difficult – namely bellringing.
Bellropespider has noticed that a lot of ringers stuck underneath glass ceilings of one sort or another. She hopes that her small website will serve to help some of them to push through and enjoy their ringing more.
Most of what a spider shares here has been learned through the generosity of other ringers taking time to explain and demonstrate ways to think about ringing, ways to manage a bell, and ways to communicate effectively with other ringers.
One or two ideas in this website will be original to a spider, and will seem so quirky that nobody else will want to use them. She is a very eccentric spider.
